5 Steps….

Phoenix regularly recruit new members and are always keen to hear from any women aged 16 or over, who are interested in joining.

Step 1: Come and visit us to meet the chorus, hear the wonderful sound of 4 part harmony and decide whether you might like to audition.

Step 2: You will be asked to sing a scale or something simple such as Happy Birthday so that the Musical Director can decide which part you would be best suited to sing.

Step 3: You will be provided with sheet music and learning tracks of a song within the chorus repertoire which you will practice for 3 weeks before being asked to audition. During these weeks, you will be assigned a buddy to help you practice or answer any questions you may have.

Step 4: You will be asked to sing the assigned song in a quartet. Feedback will be provided and if you don’t pass first time you will be able to try again the following week.

Step 5: If you're successful, you will become a fully fledged member of Phoenix.
